First Then Board is a visual communication app that uses a simple "First / Then" structure to help children understand their schedule or expectations. It's designed for use in ABA therapy, speech therapy, and everyday family life.
The app lets you build visual boards using a built-in PECS-style card library or your own photos.
Tap either the "First" or "Then" panel on the main board screen. You can then browse the built-in card library, search for a specific activity, or tap the camera icon to use your own photo.
Add a label, confirm your selection, and the card will appear on the board. That's it — no account or setup required.
Yes. Tap any board panel and choose the camera or photo library option. You can capture a new photo or select one from your device. Custom cards are stored locally on your device — they are never uploaded to any server.
Quick Boards let you save board layouts and load them instantly — great for recurring routines like morning schedules or homework time. Premium users can also schedule boards to appear automatically at set times of day via notifications.
Yes. All boards, custom cards, and saved routines work completely offline. The built-in PECS card library is cached on your device after first use and does not require a connection.
The free version includes core First/Then board functionality, access to the built-in card library, and custom photo cards. Premium unlocks Quick Boards scheduling, the activity timer, advanced search, and removes ads.
Open the app, go to Settings or the upgrade screen, and tap "Restore Purchase." Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID or Google account, so as long as you're signed into the same account, it will restore automatically.

Refunds are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) directly, as all purchases go through their platforms. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com for iOS purchases or the Google Play Help Center for Android. We're unable to issue refunds directly.
First Then Board does not collect personal information from children or require any account to use. All photos and custom content stay on your device. We do not sell or share user data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
